Line of Sight, (Space Wave) Propagation (>30 MHz)For signals above 30 MHz, neither ground wave nor sky wave propagation mode operate and communication is restricted by Line Of Sight (LOS).A signal above 30 MHz is not reflected by ionosphere and it is received either directly (LOS) or after refraction from the earth's tropospheric region (upto 15 Km above the earth's surface).The commonly known examples of LOS propagation are T.V., radar, satellite systems.
