Some Limitations of NRZ Codes are:
1. The average value of NRZ codes is nonzero. This creates, called a direct current (D.C.) component. When a signal contains a D.C. component, it cannot travel through media that cannot handle D.C. components.
2. NRZ codes have lack of synchronization capability.
